System Requirements

Your system should meet the following criteria to run EngineRoom:

• Screen Resolution: 1366x768 minimum, 1920x1080 recommended.
• Internet Browser: Latest versions of Internet Explorer (10+, non-tablet), Chrome (23+), Firefox (17+), or Safari (6+).
• Minimum Internet connection speed: 1.5 Mbps download / 128 kbps upload. The faster, the better.

Important: There are links throughout the application, within tools and in the Help system, that provide access to additional content on the topic. You will need to disable pop-ups on your browser to allow these lesson links and other links to work properly.

Data and Supporting Files

Storage Space:

• Maximum storage (data + supporting files): 500 MB

Data Files:

• Supported file formats: Microsoft Open XML format for spreadsheets (.xlsx, .csv). Note: if you do not have Microsoft Excel, your spreadsheet program may be capable of exporting to this format.
• Maximum file size: 500 KB (approximately 30,000 cells)
• Maximum variable size: 10,000 cells

Supporting Files:

• Supported file formats (for attaching to a study): .png, .jpg, .gif, .tiff, .svg, .pdf, .doc(x), .xls(x), .ppt(x), .csv, .txt, .mp4, .m4v, .mov, .mp3, .wmv, .wma, .wav, .aif, .webm, .ogv, .ogg
• Maximum file size (images, PDF, etc.): 100 MB
