Big Data Bigger Opportunities

Big Data, Bigger Opportunities for Operational Excellence

What does the data say? Every organization in every industry needs people that can work with data and make good decisions based on that data. The power of data depends on people at all levels of the organization who know why, how and when to use the data available. A process improvement leader needn't be a data science whiz. However, leaders are called to hone a higher level of technical and mathematical skills to power their critical thinking and decision making.

It continues to be a challenge to keep up with the changes in how data science is practiced and deployed. In order to stay relevant, organizations must develop agile learners who can continue to evolve as data science evolves. In the hands of these data scientists, data can inform critical business decisions, shape social discourse, even change the world for the better.

In this session, the following key points will be covered:

  • What is Data Science?
  • Basics of AI, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning
  • Ethical Challenges of Data Science
  • Applying Data Science to Improve Your Business
