Halloween is right around the corner. We wanted to give you some tips on eliminating waste this holiday season:

DEFECTS: Check your candy to make sure it’s edible and safe for the kiddos!

OVERPRODUCTION: Don't bake too many treats for the Halloween party.

WAITING: Eliminate excess time your trick-or-treaters spend standing on your lawn by planting your candy bowl on the porch.

NON-UTILIZED RESOURCES: Take advantage of your family's underutilized talents by making them decorate, dress up, or pop out at unsuspecting trick or treaters.

TRANSPORTATION: Eliminate unnecessary transportation by making your kids walk to the houses.

INVENTORY: Don't buy too much candy.

MOTION: Plan out the most efficient trick-or-treat route.

EXCESSIVE PROCESSING: Get the most bang for your buck when it comes to Halloween decorations. Purchase that Giant Inflatable Ghost you've been eyeing for years. Easy set up, and your neighbors will thank you for adding value to the neighborhood.
