The Arizona Motor Vehicle Division has been working on reducing the lines and offering alternative service options well before the challenges of COVID-19. ADOT's director, John Halikowski, challenged the 3,600+ employees to complete at least 7,200 Kaizen ideas per year — with 100% participation expected. Employees have already implemented hundreds of ideas.
