Traditional strategic planning often leads to long lists of disconnected goals. Hoshin Kanri offers a better path—one that aligns teams, focuses energy, and ensures your daily actions support your big-picture strategy.
In this two-day, in-person workshop, Mark Reich—former Toyota leader and longtime LEI coach—will guide you in applying the principles of hoshin kanri, a proven system for aligning strategy with day-to-day execution.
Join us at MoreSteam Headquarters for a hands-on workshop designed to help you drive meaningful, measurable progress across functions and across the enterprise. Bring a colleague—or two—and get even more out of the experience. We strongly encourage teams of three.

What is Hoshin Kanri?
Hoshin Kanri is a strategy deployment process that helps leaders identify what matters most, set clear priorities, and align teams across the organization. It enables organizations to focus on a few key objectives, engage people in planning, and adjust course through regular reflection and learning.
In this workshop, you'll learn how to:
- Translate strategy into meaningful, measurable goals
- Use catchball to build alignment and shared accountability
- Cascade targets and track progress across teams
- Avoid the “check-the-box” trap of traditional planning
