Bill Hathaway, President & CEO
MoreSteam.com is the brainchild of Bill Hathaway. Prior to founding MoreSteam in 2000, Bill spent 13 years in manufacturing, quality and operations management. After 10 years at Ford Motor Co., Hathaway then held executive level operations positions with Raytheon at Amana Home Appliances, and with Mansfield Plumbing Products.
Bill earned an undergraduate finance degree from the University of Notre Dame and graduate degree in business finance and operations from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
Ellen Milnes, Director of Marketing
Joining MoreSteam in 2006, Ellen Milnes develops marketing and course content support materials. Previously, she was a CI Implementation Team Leader and managed a multi-site call center operation for Columbia Gas Distribution Companies. She also worked in a variety of corporate HR management roles.
Ellen received a B.S. and M.S. in Labor and Human Resources from The Ohio State University.
Gabe Turk, Director of Business Development
Gabe Turk serves MoreSteam and its customers in a hybrid marketing, sales, and account management capacity. He assists customers of all types from the planning stages of a deployment to the day-to- day usage of MoreSteam's software and eLearning platforms. Before joining MoreSteam in 2013, Gabe specialized in Digital Marketing and Communications at Pacer International (now XPO Logistics), the Columbus Dispatch, and Spentit Mobile App.
Gabe received his BA in Communication Analysis and Practice from The Ohio State University.
Kathy Miller, Vice President of Business Development
Kathy Miller promotes process improvement tools and techniques and heads up MoreSteam's European sales efforts. Kathy joined MoreSteam in June, 2007, as the Director of Sales. Prior to that, she worked as a program Developer at the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and in training-related roles in companies related to the food-business, including Johnsonville Sausage and Whole Foods Market.
Kathy earned her Lean Six Sigma Green Belt in 2006. She earned her B.A. from University of Wisconsin, Madison and an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.
Dave Mullaney, Director of Business Development
Dave joined MoreSteam in 2017 in a Business Development role. He started his career in sports journalism and broadcasting before moving into a variety of roles for companies in the Business Support Services, Print and Customer Communication Management industries, most recently with Pitney Bowes Management Services and Novitex Enterprise Solutions. Dave brings over 20 years experience in Quality Management, Operations, Sales, and Solutions Development. He leverages his career experience as he works with MoreSteam clients to design and implement Lean Six Sigma solutions for customers across industries.
Dave achieved his Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification in 2007. He earned his B.A. in communications and journalism from the University of Dayton, and his MBA from Indiana University.
Tim Kelley, Executive Vice President
Tim Kelley is responsible for MoreSteam's business and organizational development efforts, as well as its legal matters. Tim joined MoreSteam.com in January, 2005, and serves as its Executive Vice President and General Counsel. Tim started his career as a manufacturing engineer in General Electric's Aircraft Engine Group before working for 17 years as a patent attorney and partner at the firm of Michael, Best & Friedrich in Milwaukee, WI.
Tim earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a JD (cum laude) from Marquette University.
Caleb Hearon, Senior Software Engineer
Caleb Hearon has been interested in writing computer programs since childhood. While studying at Ohio University, he was recruited by MoreSteam as an intern and established his focus in web development. During his time at MoreSteam, he has been the lead developer on MoreSteam's data analysis software, EngineRoom.
Caleb earned his BSc in Computer Science from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.
Dave Russo, Senior System Architect
Dave Russo has been with MoreSteam since its inception and has been the primary developer for the website since 2000. Previous to his time with MoreSteam, Dave worked for Cardinal Health in Dublin, OH, and helped to develop their web presence and online customer ordering systems.
Dave earned his degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Notre Dame.
Karina Dubé, eLearning Developer
Karina Dubé began working at MoreSteam in 2014, developing practice exercises with the eLearning team. She continues to create visual and interactive content for eLearning and assists with front-end development. Before coming to MoreSteam, Karina worked as a student developer in the Academic Technology Lab at the University of Notre Dame.
Karina received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, and an MSc in Interactive Media from University College Cork, Ireland.
Katie Wenner, Quality Assurance Specialist
Katie Wenner performs quality assurance and user-acceptance testing for the MoreSteam product line. She is also part of the graphics team and designs graphic elements for MoreSteam's eLearning and external communications. Katie joined MoreSteam initially as a customer support administrator in 2011, after working in a variety of roles in the customer service industry for nearly 15 years.
Katie earned a B.A. in Film Studies from The Ohio State University.
Keegan Donnelly, TRACtion Product Manager
Keegan Donnelly leads design and development of TRACtion, MoreSteam's online project management software. Before joining MoreSteam in 2016, Keegan worked on development teams with The Hershey Company and PepsiCo, including responsibilities for developing Lean Six Sigma processes.
Keegan earned both his B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science & Engineering from The Ohio State University. During his academic career, he participated in both the FEH Robot Competition and Game Design Capstone project.
Lars Maaseidvaag, Vice President of Product Development
Dr. Lars Maaseidvaag continues to expand the breadth and depth of the MoreSteam curriculum by integrating the learning of Lean tools and concepts with advanced process modeling methods. Lars led the development of Process Playground, a Web-based discrete event simulation program. Before coming to MoreSteam in 2009, he was the Curriculum Director for Accenture/George Group and has also worked in operations research and management consulting.
Lars received a PhD in Operations Research from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Prior to his PhD, Lars earned a M.S. in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering as well as an MBA from The University of Texas in Austin.
Lindsay Van Dyne, eLearning Product Manager
Lindsay Van Dyne joined the MoreSteam team at the onset of 2014 as a developer on the eLearning team, after having taught remedial courses in Algebra and Geometry to high school students. She particularly enjoys constructing effective ways of learning for others. When not continuously improving the world of eLearning, Lindsay spends her time chasing her four dogs around the neighborhood, playing soccer, and enjoying her family.
Lindsay received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a B.S. in Computational Physics and Mathematics from Bethel College.
Max Weinberg, Software Engineer
Max Weinberg joined the EngineRoom development team in 2016 after working for JPMorgan Chase as a Senior Application Developer. At Chase, Max was a member of the pioneer Agile team in Mortgage Banking Technology. Max brings experience in developing web apps and back-end software design.
Max received a B.S. in Computer and Information Science with a minor in Film Studies from The Ohio State University.
Nick LaRosa, Software Engineer
Nick LaRosa began working for MoreSteam in 2014, lending his talents to both the eLearning and EngineRoom development teams. He currently focuses his efforts on the back-end development of EngineRoom. In addition to his role with MoreSteam, Nick also serves in the United States Marine Corps Reserve as a 2nd Lieutenant with the 14th Marine Regiment.
Nick earned his B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Notre Dame.
Smita Skrivanek, EngineRoom Product Manager & Principal Statistician
Smita Skrivanek was MoreSteam's first full-time employee on the payroll. Currently, she leads research and development for EngineRoom, including its patented hypothesis testing and DOE wizard elements. Throughout her tenure, she has been responsible for building curriculum, coaching, reviewing projects, and assisting students with their advanced statistical questions. Smita previously taught college-level Statistics courses.
Smita has a Masters in Statistics from The Ohio State University and an MBA from Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
Trica Ryckman, eLearning Developer
Trica Ryckman moved to the eLearning development team in March of 2015. Having been with MoreSteam since 2006, Trica previously held roles on the Sales and Marketing team as well as Customer Support Services. She came to MoreSteam with 10 years of experience in educational sales and accounting at a software company, and also has elementary and secondary teaching experience.
Trica earned an undergraduate degree in Music Education from Bowling Green State University.
Tyler Cummings, Software Engineer
Tyler Cummings joined the EngineRoom development team in 2016 after having completed an internship at SwoopIn, a startup for a crowdsourced event creation app. At SwoopIn, he developed a web platform for their mobile location-based networking application.
Tyler received a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Notre Dame. While at UND, Tyler was a four-year member of the marching and concert bands where he utilized his leadership and musical abilities. He continues to refine his skills on his Saxophone in his free time.
Tyler Kucera, Software Engineer
Tyler Kucera began working for MoreSteam in 2017. He assists in the development of the eLearning platform. While completing his Bachelors degree, he completed a co-op with Rockwell Automation and two internships with Aviation Component Solutions. He has experience with software design, development, testing, integration, and support.
Tyler earned a B.S. in Computer Science Engineering from The Ohio State University.
Zach Shay, Software Engineer
Zach joined the MoreSteam team in 2014 to assist in the development of eLearning practice exercises. He currently is focusing on the development of new features for TRACtion. Prior to coming to MoreSteam, he worked as a patient care technician for St. Davids North Austin Medical Center.
Zach is studying for his bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Otterbein University.
Alison Smith, Director of Finance
Alison Smith is responsible for the organization and management of MoreSteam's Financial and Accounting functions. Prior to joining MoreSteam in 2011, she spent over 10 years working as a Senior Consultant for a local CPA firm where she assisted individuals and small to medium sized business with financial and tax matters.
Alison is a licensed CPA and earned her B.S. in Finance from Youngstown State University.
Chelsey Cassady, Executive Administrator - Customer Service
Chelsey Cassady joined MoreSteam in 2016 with responsibility for customer enrollment and first-level support. She also handles a variety of administrative functions for the company. Prior to joining MoreSteam, she worked as a Personal Banker and Lead Customer Service Representative at a local bank where she conducted quarterly audits and led employee engagement activities in her free time.
Chelsey earned a B.S. in Atmospheric Science from The Ohio State University.
Regina Kenney, Marketing Coordinator
Joining MoreSteam in 2011, Regina Kenney works with customers to help them get the most from their MoreSteam courses. She previously worked in manufacturing facilities managing Kanban assembly lines and also has experience working in purchasing and sales organizations.
While competing as a NCAA Division 1 Track and Field Athlete, Regina graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee's School of Business with a degree in Production and Operations Management.
