Bill Hathaway, President & CEO

 Bill Hathaway is the brainchild of Bill Hathaway. Prior to founding MoreSteam in 2000, Bill spent 13 years in manufacturing, quality and operations management. After 10 years at Ford Motor Co., Hathaway then held executive level operations positions with Raytheon at Amana Home Appliances, and with Mansfield Plumbing Products.

Bill earned an undergraduate finance degree from the University of Notre Dame and graduate degree in business finance and operations from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Chris Paret, Vice President of Sales

 Chris Paret

Chris Paret ("Pa-RAY") drives our sales efforts, working with customers and prospects to ensure that their needs are met and exceeded. Chris joined MoreSteam in August of 2008. Prior to that, he spent over seven years with Minitab Inc as the Senior Lean Six Sigma Business Development Coordinator managing Minitab's relationship with the leading Lean Six Sigma consulting and eLearning providers. His previous experience involved implementing technology solutions for the transportation, distribution, and 3rd party logistics industries.

Chris was trained as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt in 2001 and has an undergraduate degree in Business Logistics from Penn State.

Ellen Milnes, Director of Marketing

 Ellen Milnes

Joining MoreSteam in 2006, Ellen Milnes develops marketing and course content support materials. Previously, she was a CI Implementation Team Leader and managed a multi-site call center operation for Columbia Gas Distribution Companies. She also worked in a variety of corporate HR management roles.

Ellen received a B.S. and M.S. in Labor and Human Resources from The Ohio State University.

Gabe Turk, Retail Accounts Marketing Manager

 Gabe Turk

Gabe was introduced to MoreSteam President/CEO, Bill Hathaway, in South Bend, Indiana in late 2011. He is the newest member of the sales and marketing support team as of December 2013. We haven't come up with a nickname for the "new guy" yet but we are looking into it. When he's not spreading the good word of Six Sigma he enjoys writing comedic television scripts, writing music, and playing soccer.

Gabe received his BAS in Communication Analysis and Practice from The Ohio State University in 2010.

Kathy Miller, Director of Customer Solutions

 Kathy Miller

Kathy Miller promotes process improvement tools and techniques and heads up MoreSteam's European sales efforts. Kathy joined MoreSteam in June 2007 as the Director of Sales. Prior to that, she worked as a program Developer at the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and in training-related roles in companies related to the food-business, including Johnsonville Sausage and Whole Foods Market.

Kathy earned her Lean Six Sigma Green Belt in 2006. She earned her B.A. from University of Wisconsin, Madison and an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.

Tim Kelley, Executive Vice President

 Tim Kelley

Tim Kelley is responsible for MoreSteam's business and organizational development efforts, as well as its legal matters. Tim joined in January, 2005 and serves as its Executive Vice President and General Counsel. Tim started his career as a manufacturing engineer in General Electric's Aircraft Engine Group before working for 17 years as a patent attorney and partner at the firm of Michael, Best & Friedrich in Milwaukee, WI.

Tim earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a JD (cum laude) from Marquette University.

Caleb Hearon, Senior Front-End Developer

Caleb Hearon

Caleb Hearon has been interested in writing computer programs since age 14. While studying at Ohio University, he was recruited by MoreSteam as an intern, which established his focus in Web development. Other than thinking about and writing next-generation software, he enjoys playing guitar, exercising, and consuming endless amounts of energy drinks.

Caleb earned his BSc in Computer Science from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.

Dave Russo, Senior System Architect

Dave Russo

Dave Russo has been with MoreSteam since Day #1, and has been the primary developer for the Web site over the last 11 years. Previous to his time with MoreSteam, Dave worked for Cardinal Health in Dublin, OH, and helped to develop their web presence and online customer ordering systems.

Dave earned his degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Notre Dame.

Katie Wenner, Quality Assurance Specialist

 Katie Wenner

Katie Wenner recently moved to the quality assurance team where she does extensive testing for a variety of MoreSteam products. Prior to that, Katie worked for MoreSteam as a customer support administrator, having been in the customer service industry for nearly 15 years. Prior to MoreSteam, she worked as an Assistant Manager and crew trainer at a movie theater.

Katie earned a B.A. in Film Studies from The Ohio State University.

Lars Maaseidvaag, Director of Product Development

 Lars Maaseidvaag

Dr. Lars Maaseidvaag continues to expand the breadth and depth of the MoreSteam curriculum by integrating the learning of Lean tools and concepts with advanced process modeling methods. Lars led the development of Process Playground, a Web-based discrete event simulation program. Before coming to MoreSteam in 2009, he was the Curriculum Director for Accenture/George Group and has also worked in operations research and management consulting.

Lars received a PhD in Operations Research from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Prior to his PhD, Lars earned a M.S. in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering as well as an MBA from The University of Texas in Austin.

Lindsay Van Dyne, eLearning Product Manager

 Lindsay Van Dyne

Lindsay Van Dyne joined the MoreSteam team at the onset of 2014 as a developer on the eLearning team, after having taught remedial courses in Algebra and Geometry to high school students. She particularly enjoys constructing effective ways of learning for others. When not continuously improving the world of eLearning, Lindsay spends her time chasing her four dogs around the neighborhood, playing soccer, and enjoying her family.

Lindsay received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a B.S. in Computational Physics and Mathematics from Bethel College.

Smita Skrivanek, EngineRoom Product Manager & Senior Statistician

 Smita Skrivanek

Smita Skrivanek has been with MoreSteam for 10 years, building curriculum, coaching, reviewing projects, and assisting students with their advanced statistical questions. Currently, she heads the research and development operation for EngineRoom software, including its patented hypothesis testing and DOE wizard elements. Smita previously taught college-level Statistics courses. As she says: "I came for the Statistics, and stayed for the Lean Six Sigma!"

Smita has a Masters in Statistics from The Ohio State University and an MBA from Indiana University Kelley School of Business.

Trica Ryckman, Software Developer

 Trica Ryckman

Trica Ryckman moved to the eLearning development team in March of 2015. Having been with MoreSteam since 2006, Trica previously held roles on the Sales and Marketing team as well as Customer Support Services. She came to MoreSteam with 10 years of experience in educational sales and accounting at a software company, and also has elementary and secondary teaching experience.

Trica earned an undergraduate degree in Music Education from Bowling Green State University.

Alison Smith, Director of Finance

 Alison Smith

Alison Smith is responsible for the organization and management of MoreSteam's Financial and Accounting functions. Prior to joining MoreSteam in 2011, she spent over 10 years working as a Senior Consultant for a local CPA firm where she assisted individuals and small to medium sized business with financial and tax matters.

Alison earned her B.S. in Finance from Youngstown State University.

Chelsey Cassady, Executive Administrator - Customer Service

Chelsey Cassady

Chelsey Cassady is thrilled to be the newest member of the MoreSteam support team. Prior to joining MoreSteam, she worked as a Personal Banker and Lead Customer Service Representative at a local bank where she conducted quarterly audits and took charge of employee engagement activities in her free time. Her passions include recycling, exploring the Columbus food scene, and storm chasing.

Chelsey earned a B.S. in Atmospheric Science from The Ohio State University.

Regina Kenney, Marketing Coordinator

 Regina Kenney

Joining MoreSteam in 2011, Regina Kenney is an administrator who works with customers to help them get the most from their MoreSteam courses. She previously worked in manufacturing facilities managing Kanban assembly lines and also has experience working in purchasing and sales organizations.

While competing as a NCAA Division 1 Track and Field Athlete, Regina graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee's School of Business with a degree in Production and Operations Management.
