Identify which process inputs have a significant impact on the process output. This helps enormously in determining root causes of problems or optimizing your process outputs.
The number and types of factors will help determine the design. Input level names for easy identification for gathering and analyzing your data.
Save time and money by confirming that your experiments will have enough power to detect the effects you care about.
Pick the options that guarantee that your experiment is powerful enough. The options screen shows how your choices affect the resulting power.
Results output includes a conclusion on which factors are considered significant at the level you have chosen. In addition to calculating a model and statistical tables, EngineRoom's DOE tool includes:
Discover how EngineRoom, the powerful data analysis software by MoreSteam, is transforming the way businesses analyze and interpret their data. Real users on Capterra have shared their experiences, highlighting the intuitive interface, robust features, and exceptional support that EngineRoom provides. Read their honest reviews to see why EngineRoom is trusted by professionals across various industries to drive data-driven decisions and achieve their goals.
EngineRoom offers several experimental designs, automatically chosen by number and types of factors you choose.
Two-Level Factorial Designs
Includes both Full and Fractional Factorial Designs. Fractional factorial designs can be used to screen out the trivial many from the signficant few effects, while full factorial designs can help pinpoint and optimize.
General Factorial Design
General factorial designs analyze the effects of multiple factors, each at two or more levels, on a numerical response. Like full factorial designs, these designs are best used when you have few factors (up to 4 or 5), since they can get quite large and cost prohibitive.
Response Surface Methodology
Uses Central-Composite Design. Response Surface Methodology is used to detect and calculate curvature in the response. RSM used for experiments where the inputs have a non-linear effect on the output.
