Global KPI Admin

Administering Global KPIs

Global Key Performance Indicators are tracked at the instance level, so they must be managed by KPI administrators.

You can access the Global KPI Dashboard at any time by clicking the menu in the top left corner and selecting “Global KPI Dashboard” from the available options.

Create a New Global KPI

By default, the Admin view will open up the “Create a new Global KPI” view. Enter in the name and description of your Global KPI as well as associate it with a target polarity and units of measure. Once this is completed, click the button that appears labeled “Submit New Global KPI” to add the Global KPI to the list of Global KPIs.

Adding Data to a Global KPI

Select the Global KPI from the menu on the left that you would like to add data to, and its information will be displayed on the right. If there are no datasets yet, click “New Dataset” to give it a name (e.g. Plant Location, Business Unit, etc.) and click "Save".

Click the triangle next to the name to open up the editor window for data points. From here, you can add data manually. Once data is associated with a Global KPI, it will begin to show up on the Global KPI Dashboard.

For bulk data entry, click the “Upload Data” button. This will open a new menu to upload an .xlsx file with your data. If the data matches the required format, your data will be imported into the project. NOTE: The data is updated on matches to date and dataset label so if there is already any existing data that matches those pairs, it will be overwritten.
