The Quality Council of Alberta (http://qualityalberta.ca/) is a not-for-profit member-based organization established to promote Quality Management and Methods across Alberta. They do this by developing opportunities for training and networking, publishing principles and standards of practice as well as by promoting Quality Methods, Tools and Thinking. The QCA was created in 1991 in partnership with the Government of Alberta, and since that time, has spread the message of quality across Alberta, with special focus on businesses and organizations outside of Alberta'a major metropolitan areas of Edmonton and Calgary.
