 MoreSteam.com is pleased to announce the release of The Blended Learning Playbook, the first and only textbook dealing with the design and implementation of a Blended Learning model for Lean Six Sigma training. Drawing on our expertise with Lean Six Sigma training and the experiences of our customers, we have compiled the Playbook as a practical guide for deployments new to Blended Learning and for deployments looking for advice on how to improve their existing training model.
The new playbook provides a single source to help answer why a Lean Six Sigma organization needs to adopt a Blended Learning model for training and how an organization can design the most appropriate and effective Blended Learning model for its needs. The playbook includes sections on building the business case for Blended Learning, the components of a blended training model, and best practices for implementation of a blended program. Throughout the book, MoreSteam chronicles the real-life activities of successful Lean Six Sigma deployments of differing maturities and sizes.

Practice DFSS Skills With Sigma Lake™ Simulation |
|
 Video games and learning have been found to significantly boost learning outcomes. Game-based instruction makes learning more fun and therefore more engaging. Games help close the gap between theory and its application, enable students to personalize their learning, and encourage exploration.
The Sigma Lake Simulation incorporates the Roller Coaster Tycoon® computer game and offers 22 exercises to practice DFSS techniques. In addition, students can play the game to run an amusement park business while they collect and analyze voice of the customer data, simulate designed experiments, and evaluate design effectiveness. The simulation, included in both of MoreSteam's DFSS training courses, can be run as a stand-alone DFSS workshop or can be used to supplement DFSS training over multiple sessions. Six Sigma Project Potential in the Public Sector
