How Are Courses Organized?

To access the MoreSteam.com training, you simply sign in through the MoreSteam University Portal. Each course includes an introductory orientation film and a left-side navigation bar with a course map.
You can start or stop any learning sessions at any point, so you can view the as your schedule allows. These are just a few of the benefits of high-quality, online (or Web-based) learning.
As you work through the training, a status section on the course map denotes the current lesson and the lessons you have already viewed. Each page also includes links to the discussion forum, the MoreSteam Toolbox, online resources, templates, instructor support, the SigmaPedia online Lean Six Sigma encyclopedia, and more.
e-Learning Built for Convenience and Flexibility
MoreSteam's courses are conveniently divided into sessions, which are collections of related lessons. All course sessions use a mix of multimedia to present material, including text, synchronized audio slide shows, diagrams, charts, audio lectures, and simulations.
We provide links to outside research resources to help you explore chosen subjects in greater detail. Each session ends with a quiz. All course material is available online, and the course is instructor supported if you need help.

Why Online Training Is Better
There are many reasons why you should consider e-Learning over a more traditional instructor-led course. The top three benefits of e-Learning are:
-
Online learning has a lower cost, saving you money both directly and indirectly.
e-Learning means no travel expenses, and you can study during the natural business downtime. Online training brings the knowledge directly to you, no matter where you choose to study.
-
MoreSteam emphasizes practice, helping you shift from competence to confidence.
Our courses are not PowerPoint slides adapted for online viewing. We've designed them using the best practices for how adults learn and retain information, including interactive exercises, mixed media, responsive quizzes, and simulations.
- With content-on-demand, you have complete scheduling flexibility.
You control the pace of the action. You can optimize your time investment by skipping sections with familiar content and spending more time on more difficult material. You can revisit any lesson whenever you please.
